Register Flex Day Rule

Explanation

This activity is used to register the flextime rules that refer to the daily in and out limits, and the daily balance limits. The flex day rule completes the flex rules described in the time balance definition. Together, the time balance definition and the flex day rule comprise the complete description of flextime. 

In spite of this, the flex day rules are totally independent from the overall flex rules, and can be registered separately. The rules on the day level concerning the limits for the intervals do not have to be consistent. For example, on certain working days before a public holiday, when half a working day is applied, the interval for the clocking-out might not be the same as for a regular working day. At the same time, the overall flex rules are equal for all days.

Since the flex day rules depend on how the working time is planned during the day, the flex day rules are linked to the day types. The connection is made when you register the day types. Each day type can be linked to one flex day rule.

As only relative hours are entered in the flex day rule, you can apply the same flex day rules to different variations of schedules containing different in and out times. The relation to the day type intervals are:
