Usage

Use this tab window to connect reports to different printers and users and optionally with a language. When a document is created in connection with a batch job, e.g., the documents in a work order process, the IFS Printer Service can be used to print out the documents. This requires that the system knows which printer should be used. You can choose between connecting a printer to either a user or to a printout.

The Report User Printer window helps you to combine these two printout alternatives. This window function will search for the right printer in the following priority order:

  1. Search for printer in the tab Report User Printer.
  2. Search for printer in the tab Report Printer.
  3. Search for printer in the tab User Printer.
  4. If the system did not find any printer for the report, the document will not be printed. You can use Info Services to search for the report and print the report/document to any printer you want.
