Define Item Assessments

Explanation

This activity is used to create item assessment types for a punch items. The assessment values will show what action will be taken on the punch item and whose responsibility it is. e.g. Accepted as Internal Repair or Supplier/Sub-contractor Responsibility. The assessment can then be used to group punch items together for reporting and querying purposes.

Procedure

  1. Open the Punch List Basic Data window.
  2. Click the Item Assessments tab.
  3. Click  New.
  4. In the Assessment ID field, enter the identity assigned to the assessment type.
  5. In the Description field, enter a description of the assessment type.
  6. Click Save.  
  7. Repeat to define additional item assessment types.

Note: The Obsolete check box can be selected for an item assessment type which is no longer used and cannot be used on new punch lists.
