Change Status on Structure

Explanation

This activity is used to change the status of an object and its child objects within a functional or locational structure, at the same time. The change in design status occurs downwards and affects only the object's child relations. Parent relations are not affected. The design status cannot be changed for a nonexistent structure; in other words, if the structure does not exist, the command to change it is ignored. It is not possible to change the structure into an invalid status. The Ignore Objects with Invalid Status option is available in order to skip any objects in the middle of the structure with a different status and continue the changes for the rest. If the status change process is time consuming, it is also possible to select to run it as a background job. Always review the object's relations and/or the object's class relations before changing an entire object structure.

Prerequisites

A structure comprising of child objects, should exist for a selected object.
