Create Consists of and Belongs to Design Part Structure

Explanation

This activity is used to define the parts that a design parts consists of, also known as the design part bill of materials, and to define the design part to which parts belong. Consists of Design Parts register the design parts of which another design part is made up of, e.g., a pump consists of bearings, impellers and a shell. Belongs to Design Parts register one or more design parts or their versions where the selected design part could be a part of, e.g., a single bearing belongs to pumps, compressors and rollers. Consists of design part structures can be inherited as additional parts for a design object along with their purchase and spare part quantities, if a valid connection is established between the top design part and the design object.
