Create Assembly Types

Explanation

This activity is used to create an assembly type that will be used on additional parts and assembly parts of a design object. The assembly type will be used to describe how the additional parts and assembly parts, which will become the materials of a work order, are being utilized during the assembly work. Some assembly types are fitting, aligning, finishing and inspecting, among others. The assembly type can also be selected and specified when creating a work order, making it possible to exclude additional parts as material requirements in a work order if the assembly type of the additional part does not match the assembly type of the work order being created.
