Enter Resolution

Explanation

Use this activity to enter a resolution for a particular case.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, the case must be in status Open.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the resolution to the case is entered.

Procedure

  1. Open the Case window and query for the case for which you wish to enter a resolution.
  2. Select the Description tab.
  3. In the lower text area, enter the resolution for this case. The lower text area is the default Our Resolution field.
  4. Save the record.
