Modify Service Price

Explanation

This activity is used to update the service price for a service type. You can manually update the service price on the service type, even if the service price is retrieved from a part service contract or if it is a fixed price from Part Service Definition and Pricing. No restrictions exist that prevent updates of the service price.

Prerequisites

Service types must have been connected to the repair part.

System Effects

The service price is updated for a service type.

Procedure

1. Open the Component Repair Order window and search for an existing component repair order.
2. Click the Repairs tab.
3. Select a component repair order line and click on the Service Type tab.
4. Select a service line and update the price in the Service Price field.
5. Save.
