Sign Off Tasks

Explanation

This activity is used to sign off tasks associated with a repair line. A person that is authorized to approve the performed service can do this.

Prerequisites

• The repair orders connected to the repair line should be completely received.
• The repair line should be in Completed status.

System Effects

• The status of the repair line item changes to Signed Off.
• The repair order connected to the repair line will be closed.
• When tasks have been signed off, it is not possible to reopen or reverse the receipt of a repair order connected to a repair line.
• If there are tasks defined in VIM, they will be closed. This does not happen in case of manual modifications as they will not have VIM tasks defined.
• If disposition shop order is selected as repair order type, any repair shop orders and/or external service orders (ESO) created will be closed (if they have not already been closed).

Procedure

1. Open the Component Repair Order window and search for your component repair order.
2. Click the Repairs tab and select the line for which you want to sign off tasks.
3. Right-click and then click Sign Off.
