Put Contract on Hold

Explanation

Use this activity if the contract needs to be put on hold. There can be a number of reasons to keep the contract on hold. Regardless of the reason, putting a contract on hold is merely information in addition to the contract status.

System Effects

• The contract will be put on hold.
• If Application for Payments is used for a contract that is put on hold, the user will be reminded of this when submitting applications.

1. Open the Sales Contract/General tab or the Sales Contracts window.
2. Select the On Hold check box.
3. Save the changes.
