Calculate Lead Time Cost

Explanation

Use this function to calculate the lead time cost of a part. The lead time cost is calculated per component and level in the structure of the top level part.

Prerequisites

The lead time cost can only be calculated for manufactured parts.

Procedure

1. Open the Lead Time Cost window.
2. In the Part No list box, select the part for which you want to study the lead time cost.
3. When marking different parts on the tree list, the part of the lead time cost graph to which the component in focus belongs to, is displayed by the area filled in color.
4. To calculate the WIP holding cost, enter a percentage value in the Holding Rate field. The value in WIP Holding Cost is updated when you leave the field.
