Use this function to Calculate Return On Investment for a single Part or all Parts for a Site and Cost Set.

Prerequisites

This activity has the following prerequisites:

• The total cost needs to be calculated.
• Kaizen Cost Plan has to be defined.

System Effects

This activity calculates Return On Investment that may change the approval status from Stop to Go, or from Go to Stop. If the approval status has changed after this function, all changes of the approval status will be registered in the Cost message log view.

Procedure

1. Open the ROI Part Kaizen Items Calculation  window.
2. Select the required site in the Site field. This field is Mandatory.
3. Select the cost set in the Cost  Set field. This field is Mandatory.
4. Select the part cost group Id in the Part Cost Group Id field. This field is Not Mandatory.
5. Select the part number in the Part No field. This field is Not Mandatory.
6. Select the structure alternative in the Struct Alt. field. This field is Not Mandatory.
7. Select the routing alternative in the Rout Alt. field. This field is Not Mandatory.
8. Click OK.
