Create Archive Number

Explanation

This activity is used to enter information about archives which store documents. An archive could be the physical place where the document is stored or the business area to which it belongs to. Archive numbers are created for information purposes only and is not related to any functions in the system.

As a result of this activity, the created archive can be entered on documents for informational purposes.

Procedure

  1. Open the Document Basic window and click the Document Archive tab.
  2. Create a new record (F5).
  3. Enter a value in the Archive No field and a description in the Description field.
  4. Save the record (F12).
