Define Object Attributes for Macros

Explanation

This activity is used to define object types for macros. The attributes of these object types will be available for use in the macro code.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, the object you wish to define should be made document aware in order to be able to enter it using this exercise.

Procedure

1. Open the Macro Basic window.
2. Click the Object Attributes for Macros tab.
3. Create a new record (F5).
4. Enter a value in the Object Type field. Use the List of Values to select a suitable value.
5. Enter a value(s) in the Attributes field. Use the List of Values to select a suitable value.
6. Save the record (F12).
