Cleaning Up Reminder History

Explanation

This activity is used to remove statistical data about reminder proposals from the database. This consists of all the information relating to customer reminder analysis and customer reminder history. When the customer reminder history is removed, the function cancel reminders is no longer possible for reminders which are connected to the customer reminder history. You can either perform a cleanup of reminder history directly, or schedule the task as a background job.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that reminders have been printed or sent for a payer with a customer reminder proposal.

Procedure

To perform the clean up directly:

  1. Open the Customer Reminder History window.
  2. Right-click and click Cleanup of Reminder History to open the Cleanup of Reminder History dialog box.
  3. The current company is displayed by default in Company field. Enter another company to which you have access or select one from the List of Values if necessary.
  4. Click Days Before Current Date and enter number of days in order to delete statistical data of reminder proposals with a creation date which dates back more than the number of days specified in Days Before Current Date. If not click Created Before and enter the date Created Before in order to remove the data with creation date less than the Created Before date.
  5. Click Ok
