Modify Opportunity Line Revision

Explanation

This activity is used to add, modify, or delete opportunity revision lines.

Prerequisites

To add opportunity revision lines:

• An opportunity header must exist.
• The opportunity must not be in the Canceled, Closed or On-Hold status.
• The opportunity revision must not be in the Canceled status.

System Effects

Opportunity revision lines will be added, modified, or deleted.

Procedure

1. Open the Business Opportunity window and click the Opportunity Lines tab.
2. Select the revision to which a line is to be added. By default, this will be the active revision, or if there is no active revision, the most recent revision.
3. Create a new record.
4. Enter a line number, but if it is left blank, it will be calculated automatically by finding the highest line number for this opportunity and incrementing it by 1.
5. Enter site, part and quantity.
6. Save the information.
7. Repeat if necessary.
8. To modify an opportunity revision line, select the revision in which the line should be modified and modify the revision line as required.
9. Save the changes.
10. To delete a revision line, select the line and click Delete on the toolbar.
11. Save the changes.
