Use this activity to get an overview as well as a detailed view of existing external file templates.

Prerequisites

External file templates must have been defined.

Procedure

1. Open the External File Templates window.
2. Click F2 to populate the window or F3 to query for specific external file templates.
3. Use the window to get some basic information for the selected external file templates.
4. In order to see file template details, mark one or many lines, right-click and then click Details to launch the External File Template window that shows all detail definitions for the selected file templates.
