Create Instruction Type

This activity is used to enter instruction types (i.e., type of operation).

As a result of this activity instruction types are defined for use on operations in IFS/Vehicle Information Management and IFS Maintenance.

Procedure

1. Open the Instruction Basic Data window or the Operation Basic Data window.
2. Click the Instruction Type tab and create a new record (F5).
3. Enter a unique ID for the new instruction type in the Instruction Type field.
4. Enter the description of the new instruction type in the Description field.
5. Save the record (F12).
