Test Object Connection Transformation

Explanation

This activity is used to test the registered object connection transformations. This task is to be performed by a system administrator or other equivalent person.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, the object connection transformation must have been entered in the Object Connection Transformations window

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the object connection transformation is tested and validated and it performs as expected.

Key Transformation Test

Procedure

1. Open the Object Connection Transformations window.
2. Select the record you need to test and validate.
3. Right-click and click Test Transformation. The Key Transformation Test dialog box is opened.
4. Enter valid test data for each of the LUs, in the Test Target Data column.
5. Click Test.
6. Verify that you received a valid source key and that no error message is given.
7. Click Exit.
