The IFS/Project Delivery component manages the design and assembly of complex products. Each product consists of individual parts contained in a structure. The component focuses on managing the part structure to provide necessary information for the planning and execution of the part assembly. The IFS/Project component controls the project definition.
Project Product contains the tabs necessary to identify the delivery project, requirement activities, tags, spare parts, and functions. In Project Product/Procurement/Procured, you can view the list of parts requested through IFS Distribution. You can also calculate the projects material procurement list (Gross Requirement Calculation). In the Project Product/Grouped Procurement/MPL Grouped, you can see the required parts summarized per part number for a given interval, and in Project Product/Grouped Procurement/Procured Grouped, you can see the requested material summarized per part number for a given interval.
The part structure is maintained in Project Item Navigator. The activities must be predefined in IFS/Project component before they can be used in your delivery project.
