Before you approve the characteristics, you should confirm the attributes and their values. You can refresh the attributes by selecting the menu choice Refresh Attributes. If any attributes have been added to the template, they will be inserted in the part's characteristics and you can fill in the values.

A characteristics class must be associated with the engineering part.
If you refresh the attributes, any new attributes in the characteristics template are copied into the part's characteristics.
