Enter Operational Budget

Explanation

This activity is used to define an operational budget. Operational budgets facilitate you in the planning and forecast of your vehicle fleet.  

Prerequisites

Vehicles must have been defined for the owner for whom the budget is created.

System Effects

An operational budget will be created for a vehicle part and its serials.

Procedure

Follow this procedure to create an operational budget.

1. Open the Operational Budget window.
2. Create a new record (F5).
3. In the Part Number field, query (F3) for a vehicle part for which you want to create a budget.
4. Select a value in the Owner Org field. Use the List of Values to select a suitable value.
5. Enter the year for which the budget is to be created in the Budget Year field.
6. Enter a budget value consisting of numeric characters in the Budget Value field.
7. Save the record (F12).
