Plan Actions That Resolve the Issue
Explanation
This activity is used to register and manage specific actions that should be
taken in order to resolve a disciplinary or grievance issue.
You can register activities one by one or you can load a preset of activities
from a template.
Prerequisites
In order to perform this activity:
- A disciplinary or grievance issue has to be registered in the system.
- Actions that can be taken to resolve the issue have to be registered in
the system.
- Employee who will oversee the action has to be registered in the system
(Optional).
- An action template has to be defined in the system (Optional).
System Effects
As a result of this activity, actions that have to be taken to solve the
issue will be registered in the system.

Procedure
- Open the Disciplinary and Grievance Management window.
- Search or populate to find the relevant disciplinary or grievance issue.
- If you want to load a default set of actions, right-click the upper
table and click Get Actions From Template. Then, select the
appropriate template from the list.
Note: Only templates available for a specific issue category or
sub-category will be displayed.
If you need more actions, go to step 4. If you want to register details for
the actions you have loaded, go through steps 6-8. If you have all of the
relevant actions, go to step 9.
- In the upper tab, add a new record.
- In the Action field, enter the action which should be taken to
resolve the issue. You can use a list of values.
- In the Target Completion field, you can enter the date on
which/by which the action should be completed.
- In the Employee Responsible field, you can enter the identifier
of an employee who will be responsible for overseeing the action.
- In the Comments field, you can enter any comments on the action.
- Save your changes.
