Electrical Structure

Electrical and instrument equipment could be managed using an electrical structure like electrical cabinets, compartments, and finally electrical circuits, to which electrical signals belongs. An electrical structure enables electrical and instrument work and preventive maintenance to be successfully carried out. Easy access to information about electrical structures is important during maintenance and operation of a facility, especially for safety reasons. Any new installed/replaced electrical equipment must be carefully planned and a well-documented and described electrical structure is important input to these maintenance plans.
This structure could be created in two different ways:

• Starting from the top with an existing functional object that is represented by electrical cabinet or compartment. Secondly, create the underlying child structures with electrical circuits and its signals. Electrical circuits and signals entered at the bottom will in this case be created and connected to electrical compartments in one single step.
• Starting from the bottom with a functional object represented by an electrical circuit or signal, and select an existing parent electrical object (electrical cabinet, compartment or circuit).
