Define Isolation Header

Explanation

Use this activity to define a new isolation header. An isolation states how a certain part of the facility should be shut down and started up again so that the specified work can be carried out under safe conditions. By right clicking in the header it is possible to copy an existing isolation and its content.

Prerequisites

The site that is connected to the isolation identity must have been entered in Site.

Procedure

  1. Open the Isolation window and create a new record (F5).
  2. In the Description field, enter a short description for the isolation.
  3. In the Site field, the user's default site is displayed. Use the List of Values to select another site, if appropriate.
  4. Save the information (F12). The identity for the isolation is set by the system and displayed in the Isolation ID field.
