Enter Meter Line for Object

Explanation

Use this activity to enter information on a meter line for an object. 

Prerequisites

• The information on customer and coordinator must have been entered in the system.
• The test point and parameter must have been entered in the Testpoints/Parameters tab.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, you can enter start and end readings.

Procedure

1. Open the Functional Object or Serial Object window and query for an object.
2. Click the Metering Invoicing tab.
3. Select the value in the Meter field that you want to enter a meter line for.
4. Create a new record in the lower part of the window.
5. The user's default site will be displayed in the Sales Part Site field. Use the List of Values to select a different site if appropriate.
6. Enter a sales part number in the Sales Part Number field. Use the List of Values to select a suitable value.
7. Specify a generation type in the Generation Type field.
8. Save the information.
