Explanation

Use this activity to enter purchase date and acquisition cost information for a functional or serial object.

As a result of this activity, costs and/or purchase information for an object will be entered into the system.

Procedure

1. In either the Functional Object or Serial Object window, click the Cost/Year tab to open it.
2. In the Purchase Date field, enter the date of the object's purchase. Once saved the value cannot be modified.
3. In the Acquisition Cost field, enter the cost paid for the object. This field can be updated at any time.
4. Save the record.
