Allocate or Reallocate Employees to Work Order Operations

Explanation

This activity is used to manually allocate or reallocate employees to work order operations.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, work orders and/or work order structures must exist. Employees who are to be allocated must exist on the work order site.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, employees will be allocated to work order operations.

Allocate Executed By

Procedure

1. Open the Work Orders for Craft/Employee window.
2. Populate (F2) or query (F3) for the work orders or work order operations for which allocation or reallocation is to be done. Note: The lines that have a value in the Allocation No field are already allocated to someone, while the lines where there is no value in the field remains to be allocated.
3. Select the line(s) that should be allocated to a specific employee.
4. Right-click and click Allocate Executed By. The Allocate Executed By dialog box opens.
5. In the Executed By field, enter the employee's identity. Click List to select a valid value.
6. If the employee currently allocated to the operation(s) should be unallocated, select the Clear existing allocation before update check box.
7. Click OK.
