Explanation

Use this activity to execute a report in background or scheduled.

Prerequisites

Before the report is executed and printed, the following must have been completed:

As a result of this activity the report is generated and printed. The report can be reprinted via the Archived Reports window.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to execute a report in background or scheduled:

  1. Open Order Report and find the report you want to generate on line.
  2. Select the Distribution tab and enter information for a distribution of the report, if appropriate.
  3. Select the Execute tab.
  4. Alt 1: Mark Background and then Daily or Weekly on. If you marked Daily then enter a time. If you marked Weekly on, then enter information for the days.
  5. Alt 2: Mark Scheduled at and enter Date and Time.
  6. Enter optional information in the Comment field.
  7. In the When Report is Finished field, mark either Do nothing, Print, Send Message, or Send E-mail. If you selected Print you can select one of the printers that are installed. Click the arrow to see the available printers that are installed.
  8. Confirm the information.
