Explanation

Use this activity to enter code string completion information for a project in IFS Financials.

Prerequisites

Before code string completion information can be entered, the following must have been completed:

• The company must exist in IFS Financials.
• The code part values to be used in the code string completion must have been entered in Accounts and in Code Part Values in IFS/Accounting Rules.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the system can use the code string completion information when the financial transactions are created.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to specify code string completion information for a project:

1. Open Project.
2. Find the project for which you want to enter code string completion.
3. Right-click and select Code String Completion. This displays Run Code String Completion. The Code Part Value field displays the identity for the project.
4. Use the New function on the first row in the window. The code string that is defined for the company is displayed.
5. Enter information for the code string completion.
6. Save the information.

Note: You can also enter new information and change information in Projects.
