Create Structure

Explanation

This activity is used to create a consolidation structure based on which consolidation can be carried out. A consolidation structure is a combination of specific connections between nodes and reporting entities. A node represents a group of reporting entities belonging to both types (i.e. Reporting and Adjustment) in the consolidation structure. The selection of reported balances and the required consolidation adjustments are determined by the consolidation structure. Further, any changes to the group of entities belonging to a consolidation structure are introduced to balance consolidation via the consolidation structure.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, the currency code for the top node should be defined in the master company.
