Connect Business Objects to Elements

Explanation

This activity is used to connect business objects to elements.

Prerequisites

• A linear asset with one or more elements should exists.
• Use Object Connections window to make the business object available for connection to a linear asset element.

Procedure

1. Open the Linear Asset window and query for the relevant record.
2. Click the Elements tab.
3. In the lower table, click the Object Connections tab.
4. Enter a new line, in the dialog box that appears select the object type that should be connected in the Object drop down list.
5. Choose the object to be connected and press OK.
6. Save the record.
