Create Element Types

Explanation

This activity is used to create and define element types.

Prerequisites

None.

System Effects

An element type will be available to choose from in the List of Values in Linear Asset/Elements window.

Procedure

1. Open the Linear Asset Basic Data window, click the Element Types tab.
2. Enter a value in the Element Type field.
3. Enter values in the Visualizer Shape, Visualizer Color and Visualizer Size fields as required in order to organize the representation of the linear asset in the Visualizer.
4. Check the box for Blocked for Use if the element type should not appear in the List of Values when entering a element type in the Linear Asset/Elements window
5. Press Save.
