Create Elements

Explanation

This activity is used to create elements that holds general information connected to a linear asset, such as a river crossing for a road, a tree or a kilometer marker.

Prerequisites

A linear asset to which the element will be connected to should exist.

System Effects

An element on a linear asset will be created.

Procedure

1. Open the Linear Asset window and query for the relevant record.
2. Click the Elements tab.
3. Enter values in the Element ID, Start Point and End Point fields.
4. Enter values in the other fields as required.
5. Save the record.
