Create Fault Report
Explanation
This activity is used to report a fault of a linear asset. Information on the
fault location can be entered with the use of elements and segments. In addition
general information about the fault can be specified in the General
section of the Create Fault Report Assistant.
Prerequisites
- Linear Asset should exist.
- Maintenance specific information such as maintenance organization and
employee should be defined in the Organization

A work order is created for the linear asset.

Type Information
Procedure
- Open the Create Fault Report Assistant and
select Linear Asset as the object type.
- Enter values for start and end references of the fault.
- Enter any
detail information about the fault location, distance from the start element
to the fault and the length which the fault exists in Linear Asset
section.
- In General section enter maintenance specific information such as Site, Maintenance Organization, Discovery, Symptom
etc.
- Finish the Create Fault Report Assistant.
