Create Connection Types

Explanation

This activity is used to create and define connections that two linear assets can have to each other.

Prerequisites

None.

System Effects

A connection will be available to choose from in the List of Values in Linear Asset/Connections window.

Procedure

1. Open the Linear Asset Basic Data window, click the Connection Types tab.
2. Enter values in the Connection Type ID, Connection Type and Description fields. The value in the field Connection Type is the value that will show up in the List of Values when entering a connection in the Linear Asset/Connections window.
3. Check the boxes for the  X, Y and Z values that should be inverted.
4. Press Save.
