Enter Complementary Information on Linear Asset

Explanation

This activity is used to enter and view complementary information on a linear asset, for example Linear Asset Type. If the linear asset is created from a design object (possible if IFS/Asset Design is installed) the values in the Design Object Information fields are fetched from the design object at the time of creation.

Prerequisites

A linear asset must exist.

Procedure

1. Open the Linear Asset window.
2. Create a new record.
3. Click the General tab.
4. Enter values in fields as required.
5. Save the record.
