Enter Routing Lot Size Minimum Quantity

Explanation

Use this activity to define the alternates, if different alternates should be used depending on the lot size that has to be produced.

Prerequisites

• The part must be defined.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• A routing alternate is defined to be valid for a specific Lot Size (Min Lot Qty).
• The Lot Size Based check box which indicates that the part has lot size based routing is automatically selected.

Procedure

1. Open the Routing window and populate or perform a selective query to get the required part.
2. Click the Routing Lot Size tab.
3. Create a new record.
4. In the Min Lot Qty column, enter the minimum quantity of lot size.
5. In the Alternative column, enter the alternative or click List to select an available alternative from the List of Values.
6. Save the record.
7. Repeat steps 3 to 5 in order to enter the minimum quantity of lot size for all the alternates.
