This activity is used to create a post maintenance check definition. Post maintenance check definitions have revision and status handling enabled. Only one revision of the post maintenance check definition can be active at a point in time. When a new revision is activated the current active definition will be set to obsolete, based on your selection.
Once the post maintenance check definition is registered you can assign parts and part revisions to it. This will determine for which serials the post maintenance check definition will be applicable. You can also define post maintenance intervals for the assigned parts. A part number can be connected to more than one post maintenance check definition. This gives the opportunity to define different post maintenance intervals for serials with the same part number. These details are required in order to activate and use the post maintenance check definition on faults and modifications. In addition, you can connect and sequence instructions and define sign off requirements for the definition.
