Define Modification Issuer

Explanation

This activity is used to define modification issuers. You can define a new modification issuer or assign an existing manufacturer as the issuer of a modification.  

Prerequisites

If a manufacturer is to be defined as a modification issuer, the manufacturer must have been defined in the Manufacturer window.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, it will be possible to register an issuer on a modification revision.

Procedure

1. Open the Modification Program Basic Data window.
2. Click the Modification Issuer tab and create a new record (F5).
3. In the Modification Issuer field, enter the ID of the new modification issuer. If the modification issuer is already defined as a manufacturer, use the List of Values to select the manufacturer you want.
4. In the Description field, enter the description of the new modification issuer. If a manufacturer is selected in the Modification Issuer field, a value in this field appears by default.
5. Save the record (F12).
