Set Affected Parts Not Complete
Explanation
This activity is used to make changes to affected parts after they have been
set to completed. This will enable you to modify the contents of the
Affected
Parts tab in the
Modification Details window.
Prerequisites
- The modification must be in the Preliminary status.
- The activity Set
Affected Parts Complete must have been performed earlier.
- IFS/Complex MRO must be installed.
System Effects
- It is now possible to define, remove or change affected
parts in
Modification
Details/Affected Parts tab.
- An event message is sent to manufacturing that
affected parts now are marked as not complete. This implies that the work
with associating repair codes to the affected parts should be paused until
affected parts again are set to complete.
- The Affected Parts Completed Date field in the
Define
Modification/Assign Part Revisions tab will be
cleared.
