Activate the Instruction Revision

Explanation

This activity is used to set the instruction revision to the Active status. When the definition of an instruction revision is complete, it can be activated.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, the instruction revision must be in the Preliminary status.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the instruction revision is set to the Active status. The active instruction revision will be distributed to work orders.

Procedure

1. Open the Instruction window.
2. Populate (F2) or Query (F3) for the desired instruction.
3. Right-click, point to Status, and then click Set Active.
4. A message appears requiring confirmation of the step, click OK to continue.
