Sign Off Documentation Modification

Explanation

This activity is used to sign off on modifications that are defined with the Documentation assignment type. Modifications with this assignment type do not require any changes to the actual components. For example, modifications that request documentation or service manuals to be updated. When the modification work has been completed, the modification should be signed off.

Prerequisites

• The modification should be defined with the Documentation assignment type.
• The modification should be in the Active status.

System Effects

• When signing off the modification, the Sign Off Date and Sign Off By fields are updated.

Procedure

1. Open the Define Modification window and query for a modification with an Active status and the Documentation assignment type.
2. Right-click anywhere in the header and click Sign Off.
