Register Issue of Pallet Handled Parts
Explanation
Usually, the system automatically registers issues from inventory for customer orders
or shop orders. If you need to enter issues of pallet-handled parts manually, it can be
done in this window. However, the pallet status must be available, e.g., it cannot be
reserved.
Prerequisites
- The pallet cannot be locked for counting.
- An inventory value must have been specified for the part (unless there is an override
cost in the inventory part register).
- The part cannot be a blow-through or a phantom part (planning method T, O, or K).
- The current location cannot be an inspection location, shipment location, or arrival
location for pallet-handled parts.
- The Inventory Location Type must be pallet buffer, pallet deep, or pallet.
- You cannot have the pallet reserved if you want to issue from it.
- The ownership type of the parts must be Company Owned or
Consignment.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the pallet is issued from stock.
