Parts with Time Fence Mismatch

[About Time Fence Demand and Planning]

[To Master Scheduling]

Usage

Use this window to process changes in the demand time fence for any part which is produced repetitively. The demand time fence is a time limit that determines how far ahead the system should consider only actual demand. The demand time fence must be equal to the firm horizon of the schedule horizon of all manufacturing cells where a particular part is manufactured.

Once you select a master schedule plan, the demand time fence you entered is displayed as default. Any time a time fence is brought out of alignment with its affiliated firm horizon in Production Schedules, the user can use this window to bring supply in Production Schedules back into alignment with the firm horizon of the schedule horizon. Data from Master Scheduling must be synchronized with data from Production Schedules.
