Copy Entire Master Schedule - MS Level 0

Explanation

This activity is used to copy level 0 entire master schedule from one set to another set, mainly for comparison and simulation purposes. Only one master schedule set can be copied at a time.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, a master schedule activity must be created.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the entire level 0 master schedule is copied to the destination MS set. If there was a master schedule already in the destination set, then it will be replaced.

Procedure

1. Open the MS Level 0 Forecast Sets window.
2. Query for the master schedule from which you want to copy the master schedule.
3. Select the row, right-click and then click Copy Entire Master Schedule. The Copy Entire Master Schedule - MS Level 0 dialog box is opened.
4. Specify the destination MS set that you want your master schedule to be copied to, in the Site or Part No field. Use List to select a suitable value.
5. If the selected master schedule is a project master schedule part set, enter a value in the PNG field. Use List to select a suitable value.
6. Click OK.
7. The copy process will be executed online and you can view the copied master schedule MS Level 0 by clicking the MS Level 0 Part/Register Forecast tab by selecting the destination MS set from the MS Set list.
