Recalculate Period Template for MS Graph

Explanation

This activity is used to recalculate the period template for a cumulative or detailed MS graph. This recalculation is necessary if the last run date of the selected level 0 or level 1 part does not match the begin date of the selected period template. 

Prerequisites

• A level 0 or level 1 part must have been defined.
• A period template must exist in the Period Template Maintenance window.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the system recalculates the selected period template's begin date to make it match the level 1 part's last run date. This match is necessary for the system to perform the graph calculations.

Recalculate Period Template

Procedure

1. Open the Cumulative MS Graph or Detailed MS Graph window.
2. Select Zero or One according to the part level and populate the window.
3. Enter a value in the Template ID field. Use the List of Values to select a suitable value.
4. Right-click and click Recalculate Period Template. The Recalculate Period Template dialog box is opened with the last run date of the part displayed in the Period 1 Begin Date field.
5. Click OK to recalculate the period template to use the part's last run date as the period template's begin date.
