Analyze Part Routing Cost

Explanation

Use this function to analyze a part's costs incurred by the operations within it's routing.

Note: If part has a by-product, cost reductions related to the by-product will not be taken into consideration when part routings cost is simulated or viewed.

Prerequisites

A cost calculation must have been performed for the part.

Procedure

1. Open the Part Routing Cost window.
2. In the Part No field, query for the part for which you want to perform the analysis. The most common situation, however, will probably be that you navigate to the Part Routing Cost window via another window, e.g. the Part Cost window or the Cost Build-Up per Structure/Routing window.
