Attach Maintenance Levels to Routing
Explanation
Use this activity to:
- attach maintenance levels to maintenance routings - i.e., to dis-assembly
or assembly routings - for a part.
- define for each attached maintenance level the set of routing operations
required to dis-assemble or assemble the part for which the routing is
defined.
The maintenance level routing represents the set of all possible operations
required to dis-assemble or assemble a part. For an attached maintenance level,
some of the possible set of operations may not be relevant.
Prerequisites
This activity has the following prerequisites:
- Dis-assembly and/or assembly routings must have been created.
- Maintenance levels must have been created.
- Maintenance levels must be associated with the part for which the routing
has been defined.
System Effects
As a result of this activity:
- Maintenance levels are attached to dis-assembly or assembly routings.
- The set of valid routing operations for each maintenance level is defined.

Procedure
- Query the part, site, routing revision, routing type combination which
identifies the maintenance routing to which you wish to attach maintenance
levels.
- Left-click in the Maintenance Level field.
- Click New (F5). Enter the maintenance level you wish to associate
with the maintenance level routing or click List of Values to select
a maintenance level. If you enter a value for maintenance level, you must
select a maintenance level that has been associated with the part.
- Click Save (F12). The set of all possible routing operations will
be loaded into the table window.
- Click the check box in the Included column to associate that
operation with the selected maintenance level.
- Click Save (F12).
