Use Standard Operations

Explanation

Use this activity to create an operation in a routing to manufacture the part by adding a standard operation.

This activity requires a standard operation to be defined in Standard Operation window.

As a result of this activity, the system creates an operation in the routing.

Display the part(s) for which you want to enter an operation, by populating or by making a selective query.
Right-click in the Routings tab and then click Add Standard Operation. The Add Standard Operation dialog box will open.
Enter a new operation number in the Operation Number field and select Standard Operation. Click List to select from available standard operations.
Select Copy in the Copy/Reference group box area.
Click Ok.
